June:  On June 26, Wrenbury will be offering the tennis courts for the Widows Family Fun Day in memory of Jane Windsor.

May : On May 22, Wrenbury Tennis Members Mixed doubles tournament

AGM : AGM will be held 9.00pm on Thursday April 21 at Wrenbury Sports and Social Club

March: Congratulations to Team A and Team C who were both promoted to Dic 1 and Div 5 respectively in the mid cheshire winter league

June: On June 20, Wrenbury will be offering the tennis courts for the Widows Family Fun Day in memory of Jane Windsor. On June 8 the Wrenbury Cubs will be using the Tennis courts for the evening, so please ensure that you make alternative arrangements to play on that evening.

May : Congratulations on a wonderful doubles tournament held at Wrenbury on May 23 for its members. The wind made tennis conditions difficult, but endured by all. The sun was very strong and many were sunburnt the next day! Congratulations to the winners James Elwood and Phil King and commisserations to Bill May and Darren Aitken. My thanks to Hazel Richardson and Lynne Reade for their tireless efforts in oirganising a successful event
My thanks to those of you who turned up at the AGM. I also want to congratulate the winners of the "Wimbledon" draw held at the Bhurtpore on May 14. Those lucky winners will be contacted and confirmed to still want the tickets. If not, the reserves, who were drawn as back-ups will be contacted. (Winners were; Ian Johnson, Laura Atkinson, Ben Jones, The RDawson's and The Goodwins).

April : AGM will be held 9.00pm on Thursday April 22 at Wrenbury Sports and Social Club

April: April 17-September 13 the courts are reserved for PLC League matches on Monday nights from 7.00pm

March: Congratualtions to the A team who have been promoted to Div 3 with expectations that they will be promoted to Div 2 in April.

January: Due to the bitter conditions then Tennis is cancelled until club night Thursday 16, weather permitting.

December:  Congratulations to the A team who have now been promoted to Division 4. Team B could not quite improve upon last yr but better luck next yr.

Sept-Dec: Cheshire leagues begin and we have entered TWO teams.

August: We have had new hardcourt surfaces put onto our courts and they are fantastic. Come and play on them and you will notice the difference.

On June 22 Wimbledon begins. Good Luck Andy Murray. We wish all of those that won Wimbledon Tcikets in our draw to have a great day out.

On Sunday June 21 there is the Jane Windsor Memorial competition organised by the Widows Tennis League

On Sunday June 14 there was a Open Doubles Tournament at the Wrenbury Tennis Courts. Please go to Photo Gallery to see what a beautiful day we had plus all the people who turned out for a wonderful family event.
Congratulations to the Winners Matt Hadwen and Mark Cope and well played to the Runner's-Up Bill May and Tim Butterill.
Thanks to Lynne Reade and Hazel Richardson for their efforts and organisation....we even had the REAL Red Arrows do a Fly-By...amazing the amount of pull we have in our orgaisation.
