Rules

Membership Rules:

1. This is a Members’ Club. Members are those who have paid their annual subscription for the year from May 1st to April 30th. Half priced membership is available for the winter from November 1st to April 30th.

2. Annual subscription rates are:

  Adult: £55.00

  Junior (Under 18): £25.00

  Junior (Under 12): £12.50

  Family: £110.00

3. Members may invite guests to use the courts on a maximum of 5 occasions for any individual guest, but the guest must pay £2.00/hr. these fees must be collected by the member and paid to the Treasurer. Members who abuse this rule will have their court key withdrawn.

Playing Rules:

1. The courts may be played upon at any time or weather except a) when the surface is frost bound or b) in very hot conditions when the court surface feels soft.

2. Correct Tennis footwear must be worn. Toothed, ribbed or barred soled trainers are NOT ALLOWED because they will damage the court surface.

3. Members waiting to play must be allowed to do so after 15 minutes or completion of the current set.

4. Doubles has precedence over singles play.

5. Floodlights must not be used after 10.00pm

6. After play nets should be lowered by a modest amount.

7. Gates must be locked by the last player to leave.

8. No other games than Tennis is allowed on the courts. Bicycles, roller skates and all wheeled objects are NOT ALLOWED on the courts.

9. Members causing willful damage to the courts or surrounds are subject to instant dismissal.
